In a nod to my heritage and everyday activity of walking with a dog (not mine!) I've designed a series of new papercuts. They are bold, simple and humorous and would make a great gift...unless you want to keep it for yourself!

This is how my work starts - a drawing followed by a hand cut paper. If it's successful and the composition works well then I digitise it and have it laser cut in a limited edition.

I spend a lot of time walking the coastal path where I live (interspersed with some drawing and cutting paper!), so it makes a big difference to my psyche when the sun comes out. And it makes the sea blue - my fave colour!

This is a view over Langland Bay at low tide.

These beautiful flowers grow in abundance on the cliff overlooking Langland Bay - a great antidote to a miserable wet and windy morning in Wales!

I have 2 exhibitions opening on Friday...one at Baxters Gallery in Dartmouth and the other at Oriel Ceri Richards, Taliesin, Swansea Uni. I'm unable to make it to Dartmouth but I'll be at the Taliesin from 6-8 pm. All welcome if you're in the area. It runs until 4th July.
